I Decided To Switch To Cruelty Free Makeup
As I wrote an upcoming article on The It Girl about toxic cosmetics ingredients, I kept thinking about beauty products that I use every day. Roughly, I count how many products I use and it's 15 products from morning until night! Not all of my products are safe actually. I just found out how toxic my products are. But, not all of them, I use organic serum, and sometimes coconut oil for treatment.
One of my resolutions this year are using toxic-free and cruelty-free products. I love animals so much since I was a kid. My father taught me how important animals to our ecosystem. But, unfortunately, I didn't that some products that I have are not cruelty-free! *tears*
I've written a post about Maybelline Fit Me collection before, and when I knew that Maybelline it's not cruelty-free, I swore that I would never ever use it again. Same goes with L'Oreal, Bobbi Brown, Mac, and Chanel. I regret that I bought these products. So, I do a little research what brands that is cruelty-free, eventually I found that Marc Jacob is cruelty-free. Luckily, I saw a great deal on Sephora, so I bought a foundation and concealer. What I love about these products are how weightless they are on my skin. I feel like wear nothing but still looking fresh and super-charged. And the best thing is that they're cruelty-free (and parabens free! But there's still fragrance *sad*).
Animals shouldn't be the victims of my beauty. Let animals be animals.
